Epcot Solution: Taking the Education System Online​ ​​

The leading LLC Technology Consulting company engaged with Miraki Technologies to build a software mobile application for effortless management of various duties required for successful functioning of an educational institution. Various modules where created for the easy management of the education system.​

Challenges Faced​:

  • Our client had a pre-existing prototype a school management software.
  • This prototype did not have a very good design.​
  • It lacked understandability in its functionality.​

Solution​:

The prototype provided by EPCOT solution was applied with fresh designs and newer models and the following three modules where created
  • System admin​
  • School admin​​
  • Parent admin

System Admin​

  • The school admin module has a list of all the schools present.​
  • New schools can be added and the schools which are already registered can also be viewed along with school admin list.​
  • There is also a list of various system settings to add any additional information, change existing information and assign personnel.​

School Admin​​:

The school admin has various functionalities as follows:​
  • Staff-This sub-module shows all the entries about teachers can be shown as well as new entries can be created. Along with the teachers details the status of the teacher can also be shown i.e. active or inactive.​​
  • Class definition-This gives the number of grades, the different subjects offered in a particular grade along with the facility to assign teachers with respect to the subjects.​​​
  • Grade book-This gives the list of assignments allotted to that student. It also provides with the facility of adding new grades and making report cards.​​
  • Asset management-This is used to assess and track the requirements of the institutions such as various supplies, computers, furniture, heath equipment, maintenance equipment etc.​
  • Field trip-This is used to give the information such as the date of the field trip, the date of request, the date of decision and also the status of the request.​
  • Professional development-This module can be helpful to plan and assess teachers based on various performance standards.​

Parent Admin​

  • In this module the parent can view all the details about their children such as attendance, grades, discipline.​​
  • If the parent has more than one child, they can also view their profiles separately.​​
  • They can also view notice board for announcements by the admin.​​
  • The parents can also view the various subjects taken by the child and also the teachers assigned to those subjects. ​

  • This software enables its users to take the whole process of school management from offline to online.​
  • It not only decreases the amount of paperwork and also helps with procurement of files easily due to their digital nature.​
  • It also provides instant access to the parents to continuously monitor their child’s performance.​
  • And lastly this new platform provides our client with greater speed for management processes and sustains high levels of performance.​
